About the Role
At AH Living, we’re looking for kind, committed Support Workers to join our dedicated care team. In this role, you’ll provide essential, person-led support to individuals with learning disabilities, autism, mental health conditions, and physical disabilities—helping them live with dignity, choice, and independence in their own homes or supported living settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks

  • Offer companionship, emotional reassurance, and practical support

  • Encourage and facilitate community engagement, hobbies, and life skills

  • Promote independence and support goal-setting and achievement

  • Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, families, and other team members

  • Maintain accurate records and uphold safeguarding, dignity, and respect at all times

What We’re Looking For

  • Genuine passion for helping others and a person-centred mindset

  • Patience, empathy, and a positive outlook

  • Good communication and teamwork skills

  • Prior care experience is welcome but not required—full training provided

  • A flexible, dependable approach and willingness to work a variety of shifts

  • A valid UK driving licence is a bonus for community-based support
